This is a mood board we created to show significant events of 2012. Here we will explain why we chose these particular events. 

Kate Middleton - Recently announced she was pregnant and was admitted to hospital with acute morning sickness. She is also responsible for starting the 'Kate Effect' whereby she wears garments from affordable retailers or upper class high street such as Whistles and therefore that garment comes under high demand and the store cannot keep up with this.

Harry Windsor - Naked pictures circulated around various forms of media of Harry in Las Vegas.

Jimmy Saville - Accusations of pedophilia began to surface shortly after his death.

Queens Diamond Jubilee - The Queen celebrated 60 years on the throne and the whole nation participated in celebrations, with an official event being held in London that the Queen attended.

Hurricane Sandy - Super storm hits America and New York is severely affected.

Whitney Houston - Died in unfortunate circumstances involving drugs in a hotel bathroom.

James Bond - 50 years of the iconic spy celebrated with the release of Skyfall.

London 2012 Olympics - England hosts the Olympics, all the postboxes are painted gold within London.

Barack Obama - Re-elected, WOOOOOOH!

Taylor Swift - Broken a record for the most downloaded country music song since Rascal Flatts in 2001.

Crisis in the EU - Many countries want bailing out and Greece suffer horrendously. 

Twilight - The last part to the Twilight saga is released.

I'm A Celebrity... - Charlie Brooks crowned queen of the jungle.
